Chess Pieces - Knights

The knight moves in an L shape over the board.  The knight moves two squares up, down, left, right and then one square left or right.  Below is an example of the possible moves available to a centralized knight.


The knight is the only piece that can literally jump over other pieces.  The knight is slower then the bishop in open games, but in closed positions such as the one shown below you can see the advantage of having a knight.
